Acclaimed singer Jeff Harnar recently revised his out-of-print Sammy Cahn album. The MAC and Bistro Award-winner will be celebrating the new album with shows at 54 Below on July 26th and 27th. The new album, published by PS Classics, is currently available for pre-order. Harnar's show spotlights Cahn’s lyrics for Sinatra, Hollywood, and WWII.
Review: TRIBUTE TO MALTBY & SHIRE Is a Triumph at The Cutting Room
A 'Big' salute to songwriters Maltby & Shire, hosted and music-directed by Michael Lavine, brings us 'Closer Than Ever' to perfection. As tributes go, the one filled with the songs of Maltby and Shire, as they were bestowed the Lifetime Achievement Award, was tops. Filled with theatre and cabaret performers, it was a great night.
