Nick Flatto (he/him) is an LGBTQ+ Theatre Architect who is passionate about new works to educate, inspire, and strengthen communities. After a decade as a performer, Nick found he could have a more direct impact by building spaces as a producer, educator, director, and writer. He is a Tony-nominated Co-Producer on Operation Mincemeat. Nick is the proud Executive Artistic Director of Velvet Stage Productions, leading a monthly creative laboratory for fellow multi-hyphenates to thrive. He is the Director and Lead-Producer of Stranger Sings: The Parody Musical, which was awarded the BroadwayWorld Award for Best Musical, received 3 Drama Desk Nominations, and is now licensing worldwide. As a graduate of Tectonic Theatre Company and Muhlenberg College, he enjoys devising theatre through Moment Work. Nick is a writer with an original musical lovingly developed with the support of Drama Club Camp and Life Jacket Theatre Company. He is proud to be on the board of Out of the Box Theatrics, with a mission to elevate marginalized voices in theatre.
