BIO
Lola Tung began her professional acting career while attending Carnegie Mellon University, after being cast as Isabel "Belly" Conklin in Amazon Prime Video's adaptation of Jenny Han's The Summer I Turned Pretty. She was announced in the lead role in 2021 and signed with Creative Artists Agency later that year. The series premiered in 2022, returned for a second season in 2023, and concluded with its third and final season in 2025. A feature film adaptation was later announced.
In 2023, Tung portrayed Penny Lane in the developmental residency of Almost Famous at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. She made her Broadway debut in 2024 as Eurydice in Hadestown, starring opposite Jordan Fisher, earning a nomination at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards for her performance.
In 2025, Tung was cast in the horror film Forbidden Fruits, released in 2026, performed in Tom Kitt & Friends at 54 Below, and joined the cast of The Young People, directed by Oz Perkins. In 2026, she joined the cast of the A24 film Please, directed by Halina Reijn. She was also honored as the Emerging Shiftmaker at the 2026 Shiftmakers Gala for her contributions to film and television and her impact on representation.

The first two weeks were included in this year’s Broadway Week discounts, where even the longer running shows that do not typically sell discounted tickets run some special deals. In spite of the cold weather this season was a significant improvement from last year, with the total gross as a whole being up well over 20% for the month compared to February 2024.
