In December 2023, the OC welcomed back two powerhouse vocalists who each gave their own respective holiday-themed concerts: Broadway fave Megan Hilty at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa; and recording artist Linda Eder at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. To no one's surprise, both entertained and awed with their spectacular talents.
54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present Audrey Heffernan Meyer in Back in the Nick of Time on April 28, 2023.
On her 10th studio album, the masterful Trouble and Strife, Joan Osborne has issued a clarion call. With stunning vocals, a diverse range of sonics and incisive lyrics, this deeply engaging collection of new original songs is her response to “the crazy, chaotic times we're living in,” she said, and “a recognition of the important role music has to play in this moment. Music has a unique ability to re-energize people and allow us to continue to hang on to that sense of joy of being alive.”
Brandi Burkhardt is ready to tell her own stories, and what better place to do it than on the solo concert stage?
Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Joan Osborne made her Cafe Carlyle debut last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Her two-week run, March 8th-18, will feature the songs of Bob Dylan.
