BIO
Dennis Corsi is the Artistic Director of the Fresh Fruit Festival and the Director of New Works at Live & In Color. Select directing credits: The Commedia Cinderella (Theatre Row - winner of Off Broadway Alliance Award), The Phillie Trilogy (Fresh Fruit Festival - winner Outstanding Production 2018), The Fierce Urgency of Now (Fresh Fruit Festival - winner Outstanding Production 2017), Gruesomely Merry Adventures (Winterfest - winner Best Director), The Turing Test (Gallery Players), Siren's Den (Gene Frankel), Junie B. Jones (Theatreworks USA), Dust and Ash (Samuel French OOB), and bare (Michigan State University).
Dennis is an alumna of the Lincoln Center Director's’ Lab, Directors Lab West, and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation Observership program.

Live & In Color is accepting submissions for their 2024 Fall retreat at the Bingham Camp. Playwrights, composers, and lyricists of color and underrepresented communities can submit their new musicals with a 4-actor cast limit. Selected submissions will receive a $1,000 stipend, housing, meals, and travel.

Along with Doric Wilson's play Forever After Playwright Danielle Frimer's play A Marriage Is A Story We Tell And Keep Telling will hit the stage at The Siggy at The Flea Theater this August. In this production a queer couple hides in the supply closet moments before what they hope will be their perfect wedding. Their jitters rocket them into a metaphysical meta theatrical manic meditation on the heteronormative nature of the marriage industry complex.
