A&E celebrates the art of barbeque this summer with the new unscripted series “Kings of BBQ” following Emmy®-nominated actor, producer and comedian Anthony Anderson (“black-ish”) and renowned actor, producer, and comedian Cedric The Entertainer (“The Neighborhood”) as they embark on a cross country barbeque adventure.

From director Ursula Macfarlane (Untouchable) and producer Alexandra Lacey comes an unflinching and humanizing examination of the life, death and secrets of Vickie Lynn Hogan - better known as model and actress Anna Nicole Smith. ANNA NICOLE SMITH: YOU DON’T KNOW ME reveals new insights into the story of the quintessential blonde bombshell.

SeriesFest, the award-winning international festival and non-profit organization dedicated to championing emerging and underserved voices in storytelling, has announced the line-up for this year's signature series, “Innovation Talks.” 

In his world premiere, one-man show “Clowns Like Me,” Sarasota actor and storyteller Scott Ehrenpreis will be telling his humorous and profound story of living with mental illness to a Sarasota audience this May.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost, Oz), Mustafa Shakir (Luke Cage) will star and Terry Pheto (Tsotsi, The Bold & the Beautiful) and Lerato Mvelase (Justice Served) will guest star in the highly anticipated new series KING SHAKA, an epic drama centered around one man’s personal journey from stigmatized childhood to legendary king.

Nicole Byer (Nailed It!, Grand Crew), Jessica Lowe (Minx, The Righteous Gemstones), Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows), and Andrew Lewis Caldwell (Danger Force, The Matrix Resurrections) lead an all-star cast in this nostalgic supernatural comedy. The film will also star Joey Fatone, Nikki Glaser, Kathy Griffin, Nicole Richie, and more.

Babalola will join fellow series regulars Aïssa Maïga (The Fear Index) as Nandi, Shaka’s devoted mother who will sacrifice everything to fulfill her son’s destiny; and Thando DIomo (The Woman King) as Pampatha, a herder who finds her fate forever entwined with Shaka’s.

AleXa, a K-pop artist who represented her home state of Oklahoma, was crowned the winner of NBC’s “American Song Contest.” The winner was announced during last night's Grand Final as the top 10 artists took the stage one last time. Representing Oklahoma, AleXa’s original song “Wonderland” won America and the National Jury’s vote for best hit song.

The eight part, one-hour series is based on Selwyn Raab’s New York Times best-selling book Five Families: The Rise, Decline and Resurgence of America’s Most Powerful Mafia Empires. The story follows the dramatic rise and fall of the New York’s mafia’s five families - Genovese, Gambino, Bonnano, Colombo and Lucchese.
