Surfside Players Announces ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW 10th Anniversary Screenings, 10/14-29

By: Sep. 30, 2011

LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN! The immortal tribute to B-movie sci-fi and horror, complete with shadow cast doing odd things in front of the screen, has returned to Surfside for its TENTH YEAR, and directors Holly McFarland and Rachel Cooke have stepped up the reactor power input three more points with the Director's Cut of the film, the seldom-seen musical talents of their latest cast, and a new pre-show of song, dance, and comedy.

THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW will run for three weekends, Fridays and Saturdays at one minute before midnight, October 14 - 29, 2011. Admission is $10, and $3 bags of props are available in the lobby. The closing night of last year's show had the house packed a FULL HOUR BEFORE OPENING, and many "Wild and Untamed Things" had to be turned away, so we recommend attending the earlier weekends if you can. We do not take reservations, but call the Box Office at (321) 783-3127 to inquire about advance ticket purchase.

Dress code is very, very, very, very casual. Come as you are, or as you wish you could be. The movie is rated R and the show is for "Mature" Audiences Only. Audience members under 18 should be accompanied by a parent/guardian who knows what the show is about. Audience members who have never seen the show should come with someone who has.

Surfside Players is located an hour's drive east of Orlando. From the mainland, take 520-East or 528-East to A1A-South, or take Pineda, Eau Gallie or 192-East to A1A-North. Drive into Cocoa Beach, and turn west on Fifth Street South. Presented by special arrangement with Criterion Pictures. For more information call (321) 783-3127 or visit our website at www.surfsideplayers.com.
