Merrimack Repertory Theatre Board President Debra Grossman announced today that the company had concluded a six month national search for MRT's new Executive Director and have engaged Elizabeth Kegley, currently Managing Director of Dallas' highly-regarded Kitchen Dog Theatre, to fill the position.

The 54th annual Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival and 3rd annual Pittsburgh JazzLive International Festival are looking for volunteers! The Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival will be held June 7-16, 2013 in the streets, open spaces, galleries and historic plazas of downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District, Gateway Center, and Point State Park. Pittsburgh JazzLive International Festival will be held June 7-9 at various locations in the Cultural District.

THE ASTORIA PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (APAC) is pleased to announce the one-week extension of Willy Russell's (Educating Rita and Shirley Valentine) BLOOD BROTHERS, musical staging by Christine O'Grady, musical direction by Julianne B. After playing to sold-out audiences and receiving critical acclaim, such as John Simon remarking, 'A tasteful revival of a worthwhile show, which you will want to catch whether or not you have seen the musical before,' BLOOD BROTHERS will extend a week at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (30-44 Crescent St, Astoria, NY 11102. Entrance on 30th Road). Performances began Thursday, May 2 and will now continue through Saturday, May 25. Opening Night was Saturday, May4 (8 p.m.).

Gloucester Stage Artistic Director Eric C. Engel recently announced Gloucester Stage's 34th season of producing professional theatre in Gloucester Massachusetts to begin on June 20 with the award winning musical Spring Awakening directed by Engel.

To accommodate extraordinary ticket demand, Lifeline Theatre will add four additional performances to the run of its family musical, The Emperor's New Threads: A Fashion Statement, based on the folktale The Emperor's New Clothes by Hans Christian Andersen. After popular demand, The Dutch Apple will bring back comedies to their stage with Run For Your Wife opening February 14. Run For Your Wife is a British comedy written by the "master of farce" Ray Cooney, and is said to be one of the funniest and most popular of all his plays.

Internationally acclaimed Grammy Award-winning conductor Helmuth Rilling, recipient of the 2011 Herbert von Karajan Music Prize, makes his 13th appearance with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra to guest conduct two performances of Mozart's sublime Requiem in D minor, K. 626, featuring soprano Stacey Tappan, alto Callista Hoffman, tenor Nicholas Phan, bass Michael Dean and the acclaimed USC Thornton Chamber Singers, under the direction of Jo Michael Scheibe, on Saturday, January 26, 8 pm, at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, and Sunday, January 27, 2013, 7 pm, at UCLA's Royce Hall. The all-Mozart program, which celebrates the legendary composer's 257th birthday, opens with his majestic Symphony No. 39 in E-flat major, K. 543.
