Mike Super Predicts Tribune Headline, Revealed at 12/10 Show

By: Nov. 29, 2010

MIKE SUPER, star of NBC's hit TV show Phenomenon, claims he has received a premonition of the Sarasota Herald Tribune headline for December 10, 2010. He has gone on record with it and is willing to risk a large sum of money if he is incorrect.

Two months ago, Super maintains, he received the premonition and made a record of it. That record, currently being held in an undisclosed location within the walls of the Van Wezel, will be moved on Wednesday December 1st at 11:00 a.m. into a locked enclosure outside the Herald Tribune's main entrance for all the world to see. "I'm not a psychic, but this is not a magic trick either...there is certainly a chance I could be wrong," says Super, who is wagering his psychic abilities against the community's ticket price. Mayor Kelly Kirschner will be present to sign the envelope containing the prediction and help to seal it in a locked news rack, so there can be no mistaking the correct envelope. IF MIKE SUPER'S prediction for the headline is wrong, he will refund EVERY ADVANCE ticket purchased for his show at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on December 10th from the $250,000 grand prize he won on NBC's Phenomenon. The contents of the envelope will be revealed on stage, at the opening of the show. While Super is present, he maintains he won't touch a thing.

NBC allows super to make 15 psychic wagers a year, and he has selected Sarasota as one of them. He does not do this for every performance on his tour, only when his "energy" aligns with the town he's to visit. MIKE SUPER supports the Mayors' Feed the Hungry Program. Contribute a nonperishable food item and get $5.00 off the cost of your ticket.

For tickets call the Van Wezel box office at (941) 953-3368 or log onto www.vanwezel.org. Stop by the Herald Tribune building to view the prediction envelope for yourself.
