Alan Henry

Alan is a third year undergraduate student at York University, in Toronto. He has had a passion for the performing arts ever since he saw the original production of Disney?s Beauty and the Beast at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Alan has eleven years of intensive dance training under his belt, and in 2006 was the Canadian National Ballroom Champion in his age category. As a performer, Alan has been seen on stage at the Bathurst Street Theatre (now the Randolph Theatre), The FLATO Markham Theatre, The Leah Posluns Theatre, The Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts, and many more. Alan first started blogging about theatre in 2011 with his now defunct blog, Broadway Toronto. In March 2013, Alan joined the team at BroadwayWorld Toronto and continued his foray into arts journalism. In February of 2014, Alan became the Senior Editor for the Toronto division of BroadwayWorld.com ? and since then has expanded the regional coverage to include much of Southern Ontario, as well as many of the smaller professional theatre companies in the city. A long term theatre fan, Alan is grateful to be a part of the Toronto arts community in any capacity. ?I?m incredibly fortunate that I?ve found a way to be involved with our arts community in the position that I have. Audra Stafford

Audra Stafford is excited to share her love of San Diego theatre with BroadwayWorld.com! As the entertainment reporter for ABC-10 in San Diego, Audra covered the world premieres of A Catered Affair and Dancing in the Dark at The Old Globe, the West Coast premiere of Xanadu at the La Jolla Playhouse, and she was also one of only two journalists in the nation to be embedded in a production of CATS during its national tour. Audra has also interviewed many of Hollywood?s and Broadway?s finest actors, directors and producers, including Scott Sanders, Tom Hulce, Frankie Valli, Robin Williams, Jon Voigt, Helen Mirren, George Lopez, Teri Hatcher, Dakota Fanning, Jerry Bruckheimer and Henry Selick. Audra is a distinguished graduate of San Diego State University?s Television, Film and New Media Production program, where she earned two Student Emmys. She also received an Emmy for her work as producer of 10-4 San Diego. Audra is a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild. Caryn Robbins

Caryn Robbins is a features editor for BroadwayWorld, covering TV, film and the best of Broadway theater. Her first musical comedy 'Admissions' recently made its New York premiere at the West Village Musical Theater Festival.
Courtney Henley

Courtney is a film, TV, and theatre buff who received her BA in Film Studies & Production from Hofstra University in hopes of putting her knowledge to good use. While studying, she produced a festival-winning short film and wrote and directed a number of other shorts. She can quote a ridiculous number of movies and plays and is currently writing her first feature-length film, which she hopes will one day be quoted by others.
David Clarke

David Clarke has had a lifelong love and passion for the performing arts, and has been writing about theatre both locally and nationally for years. He joined BroadwayWorld.com running their Houston site in early 2012 and began writing as the site's official theatre recording critic in June of 2013.
Don Grigware

Don Grigware is an Ovation nominated actor and writer whose contributions to theatre through the years have included 6 years as theatre editor of NoHoLA, a contributor to LA Stage Magazine and currently on his own website: www.grigwaretalkstheatre.com Don hails from Holyoke, Massachusetts and holds two Masters Degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in Education and Bilingual Studies. He is a teacher of foreign language and ESL. Don is in his sixth year with BWW, currently serving as Senior Editor of the Los Angeles Page. He received a BWW Award for Excellence in 2014 as one of the top ten Regional Editors across the globe.
Kate Finburg

Kate is a part-time journalist living in London and working in the television and film industry. Passions are London leisure time and exploring our capital city. She has written reviews and previews of theatre, comedy and gigs for BroadwayWorld.com, The Guardian, Le Cool, and many local London newspapers. Kathy Strain

Kathy Strain spent most of her life outside of Philadelphia and has enjoyed Broadway shows for most of her life. Kathy moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2001 with her husband Ken and 3 children. She holds a degree in Public Relations from the University of Texas at San Antonio and runs her own Public Relations company. She loves to contribute pieces on the arts to several outlets and enjoys writing about talent and sharing it with the world.
Larry Murray

Larry Murray has been writing about theatre, music and dance for a long time. Over the years he has worked with Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Ballet, and numerous theatre companies. He helped begin Arts Boston, an umbrella organization and served as its CEO for a decade. As chair of Boston's Midtown Cultural District Task Force,he paved the way for new facilities for local theatres. He works behind the scene to nurture the performing arts, but in 1989 was named New England's Entertainer of the Year. His online blog, BerkshireOnStage.com is well known as an authoritative voice on the arts of Western Massachusetts. Over the years he has written for the Boston Globe, Boston Phoenix, Berkshire Fine Arts and is a regular contributor to Nippertown, the Albany, NY entertainment website.
Marakay Rogers

America's most uncoordinated childhood ballet and tap student before discovering that her talents were music and writing, Marakay Rogers finally traded in her violin for law school when she realized that she might make more money in law than she did performing with the Potomac Symphony and in orchestra pits around the mid-Atlantic. A graduate of Wilson College (PA) with additional studies in drama and literature from Open University (UK), Marakay is also a writer, film reviewer and interviewer for the Wilkes-Barre (PA) Independent Gazette, science-fiction publications, and other news outlets, and is listed in Marquis' "Who's Who in America". As of 2014, she serves as Vice-Chair of the Advisory Board of the Beaux Arts Society, Inc. of New York. Marakay is senior theatre critic for Central Pennsylvania and a senior editor for BWWBooksWorld as well as a classical music reviewer. In her free time, Marakay practices law and often gets it right.
Marina Kennedy

Marina Kennedy writes articles and reviews for Broadwayworld.com on performance venues in New York and New Jersey. She also has a weekly column in Fitnessworld.com, "Fit Food Finds," which discusses healthy eating in the New York City area. Her interest in fitness, dance, and theatre stem from the many years she owned and operated a dance school, "Dance Unlimited" in New Jersey in the late 70's and 80's. She enjoys an active journalism career and loves writing for Broadwayworld.com.
Matt Tamanini

Matt is BroadwayWorld's Chief TV and Film critic. He also writes across other BWW sites, including BWW Orlando, and serves as BWW's Database Manager. He received a BA in Journalism/Communications from The Ohio State University and has worked in sports broadcasting, media relations, and journalism. Oliver Oliveros

Oliver Oliveros received a master's degree in public relations and corporate communication from New York University while serving as regional director for BroadwayWorld.com, where he accepted an Award for Excellence: Best International Editor in 2013. In the last 20 years, Oliver has been handling either public relations, corporate communication, or integrated marketing communications for numerous brands (including Pepsi), Broadway shows, Broadway stars, non-profit organizations, and mainstream celebrities. He is the editor-in-chief of Fil-Am Who?s Who magazine, and a board member, handling publicity and communications, for the annual The Outstanding Filipino Americans in New York Awards held in Carnegie Hall.

Richard Jay-Alexander

Richard Jay-Alexander's extensive credits includes concerts for internationally renowned stars such as Barbra Streisand (including her most recent tour), Kristin Chenoweth, Bernadette Peters and Bette Midler, and the star-studded Hollywood Bowl concert stagings of Les Mis?rables and Guys and Dolls. Mr. Jay-Alexander is probably best known for his 10 years in North America, working with Cameron Mackintosh and helming his North American operation.
Ryan Kilpatrick

Ryan Kilpatrick is an actress and writer whose love for the arts stems from her early exposure to theater and classic films. Her one woman show "Notes From a Horne" about the late entertainer Lena Horne, earned her a festival favorite award at the Atlanta Black Theater Festival in 2012. Ryan graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a B.F.A in Screenwriting.
Shari Barrett

Shari Barrett, a Los Angeles native, has been active in the theater world since the age of six - acting, singing, and dancing her way across the boards all over town. After teaching in local secondary schools, working in marketing for several studios, writing, directing, producing, and performing in productions for several non-profit theaters, Shari now dedicates her time and focuses her skills as an independent publicist to "get the word out" about smaller theaters throughout the Los Angeles area. As a founding member of the LA Stage Alliance Leadership Council Task Force, she and reps from theaters throughout the city work together to articulate a vision for the theatre community of Greater Los Angeles. Shari has received recognition from the City of Los Angeles for her dedication of heart and hand to the needs of friends, neighbors and fellow members of society for her devotion of service to the people of Los Angeles. Shari is honored to serve her hometown as a contributor to Broadway World.
Stephen Sorokoff

Stephen's life seems to have always revolved around a camera and a piano. He studied at Manhattan School of Music and performed in the "Borsht Belt" during college vacations, where in the true DIRTY DANCING tradition he met his wife Eda. Stephen was a Board Member of the First All Children's Theater and his wife, a classical pianist, is a Board Member of Barrington Stage Co. In between he made time to be CEO of a multi national machinery company and President of a domestic Textile Mfg. Co. In retirement, he now takes pictures of his 5 grandchildren and various other performers.
Walter McBride

As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Walter moved to Manhattan and for a leading role as a Photographer & Photo Researcher. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award.
