Tom Hiddleston Calls Shakespeare's Poetry 'A Labyrinth'

Tom Hiddleston Calls Shakespeare's Poetry 'A Labyrinth'Internationally celebrated stage and screen star Tom Hiddleston eloquently discusses the the finer points of the poetry implicit in the language of William Shakespeare as part of a preview clip of a forthcoming documentary centering on the Bard.

"Shakespeare's poetry is like a labyrinth," Hiddleston passionately states in the new clip.

Furthermore, Hiddleston continues, "His verse is so full of twists and turns, which, at first, can seem confusing and befuddling and intimidating."

Yet, Hiddleston confirms, "If you, as the actor, know the way through the labyrinth, you can lead other people - faster; and, with clarity; and fun."

Of note, Hiddleston was recently nominated for a 2014 Laurence Olivier Award for his titular turn in the Donmar Warehouse revival of Shakespeare's tragedy CORIOLANUS in the West End.
