LEGO MOVIE Hits Blockbuster Status; #1 Again at Box Office with RoboCop in 3rd Place for Weekend of Feb. 16, 2014

Rentrak Corporation today announced the worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of Feb. 16, 2014 as compiled by the company's Box Office Essentials and International Box Office Essentials theatrical measurement services.

Rentrak's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Warner Bros.' 'The Lego Movie' continues to build the perfect worldwide blockbuster earning $76.5 million this weekend in 42 international territories plus North America for a total to date of $180.3 million, while Sony's 'RoboCop' enjoyed a stellar global debut in 38 territories and nearly $100 million this weekend."
