Commencing their relationship at the Marchesa AW14 runway show during Fashion Week in New York, TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe styled the hair that graced the catwalk at the iconic New York Public Library. The hair designs were led by TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe Global Ambassador Mark Hampton, who worked with the Marchesa design duo to create signature looks inspired by the idea of a tribal, Scottish woman with rebellious and modern hair. The prestigious runway show, attended by A-List celebrities and fashion's elite, was enhanced by the enviable hairstyles, marking new trends for the AW14 season. "I love collaborating with designers to create a head-to-toe look that is not only beautiful, but also portrays the story that inspired the collection. Working on behalf of TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe and with Marchesa has been amazing. I'm proud of the hair we created for this show and honored to be working with such incredible designers," said Mark Hampton, Global Ambassador for TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe.
TONI&GUY HAIR MEET WARDROBE THE STYLING FORCE BEHIND THE HAIR FASHION LOOK AT Marchesa THIS FASHION WEEK
Visions of billowing bonfires sweeping through the Scottish highlands, Marchesa's AW14 collection is guided through an ombre of fiery flames and smoky fog. Bursts of teal, cinnamon, saffron and copper hues give way to silver, blush and cream.
THE HAIR LOOK
This season at Marchesa, two juxtaposing Scottish highland-inspired hairstyles walked the runway. "I worked with Marchesa to create complementary looks that portrayed two modern sirens - one more aggressive with a strong, braided look and the other much softer, with an ethereal top-knot."
