Los Angeles Annual Norooz Festival Set for 3/16

The annual Los Angeles Norooz Festival is officially set for March 16, it was announced today.

Discover and rediscover the traditions of Iranian roots at the Annual Norooz Festival. An all-ages event dedicated to experiencing the enchantment of Iranian history in a celebration of the Persian New Year. Explore authentic Persian art, food, and entertainment in an environment that is centered on the traditions of family and community.

Included in the lineup of activities will be culturally themed arts and crafts, traditional dance displays and lessons and an array of ethnically diverse food and drinks.

Special celebrity guests will make appearances throughout the event to perform some of today's top hits. Additional appearances will be made by Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and some of the world's top Persian chefs.

The event will run from 11 AM to 5 PM at The Arena: 6655 Santa Monica Blvd. Hollywood, CA. 90038. Cost is $10 per person.
