AMNH and Google Team to Showcase 2013 DOODLE 4 GOOGLE Winners, 5/22-7/14
The American Museum of Natural History and Google have teamed up to present and showcase this year's 2013 Doodle 4 Google winners. The annual Doodle 4 Google competition invites students (grades K-12) across the country to submit their designs of the Google logo based off this year's theme "My Best Day Ever..." The presentation will be view from Wednesday, May 22 through July 14.
One design will be selected to appear on the Google homepage for 24 hours on May 23rd and all of the top 50 finalists (one from each U.S. state) will have their artwork displayed at the Museum as well. This year will be the sixth year of the national competition and the fourth year that Google has honored the program and its finalists by hosting an presentation of participants' artwork in New York City.
The finalists were chosen from a selection of 130,000 students across the country. A list of finalists and their designs is available at http://www.google.com/doodle4google/vote.html.
