SoLuna Studio will produce the musical BONNIE & CLYDE as a part their professional mainstage season, with performances running today, September 13th-28th.

BONNIE AND CLYDE is a thrilling contemporary musical with a non-traditional score, combining blues, gospel and rockabilly music. It tells the story of two of the most renowned and fabled criminals of the twentieth century, Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker. Written by Ivan Menchell, with music and lyrics by Frank Wildhorn and Don Black, BONNIE AND CLYDE picked up two Tony Award nominations in 2012 for best score (Frank Wildhorn, composer and Don Black, lyricist) and best actress in a musical (Laura Osnes).

BONNIE AND CLYDE had its premiere in La Jolla, California at the La Jolla Playhouse. The show ran from November 10, 2009, through December 20, 2009. BONNIE AND CLYDE began Broadway previews at the Gerard Schoenfeld Theatre on November 4, 2011, and opened on December 1, 2011. The show closed after 33 previews and 36 performances on December 30, 2011.
