Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie, platinum Award winner and Tony Award nominee Ann Hampton Calloway, legendary jazz vocalist, pianist and composer Barbara Carroll, and celebrated piano-vocalist Tony DeSare gave a special press preview from some of the upcoming engagements at 54 Below this week. Annie Funke, Jake Gyllenhaal

'If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet', a new play by Nick Payne and directed by Michael Longhurst, features Annie Funke (Anna) ,Michelle Gomez (Fiona), Jake Gyllenhaal (Terry) and Brían F. O'Byrne (George). The play opens on Thursday, September 20th, 2012 and is a strictly limited engagement of 13-weeks through November 25, 2012. Ben Fankhauser, Corey Cott, Kara Lindsay, Lewis Grosso

Newsies, the Tony® Award winning new American musical, proudly welcomed Corey Cott to the role of the show's leading man Jack Kelly, full time, beginning at this Wednesday's matinee performance. Cott became the Jack Kelly alternate in mid-August and has performed the role intermittently since. The actor replaces Tony-nominated Jeremy Jordan. Davis Gaines, Christine Lakin

Winner of the 2012 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical, SILENCE! The Musical the
unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs opened a Los Angeles company with performances that began on August 31, at the Hayworth Theatre. Davis Gaines plays Hannibal Lecter. He is joined by Christine Lakin, in the role of Clarice Starling. This engagement marks the West Coast Premiere of the Off-Broadway hit. To view more production photos, click here!

Susan Louise O'Connor

Adam Szymkowicz has been carving a niche for himself among our best young crop of comedy writers, describing love affairs of many kinds with an admirable simplicity. His latest work, "The Why Overhead," had its premiere run on September 6, presented by Zootopia Theatre Company at Access Theater. The piece imagines what happens in the office while the boss is away. Matthew J. Nichols directs a cast of 12, which includes Susan Louise O'Connor, a Theatre World Award winner for "Blythe Spirit" on Broadway. Click here to see more production photos.

Charlotte Wakefield and Andreas Gyllander

The new cast of West End's MAMMA MIA! appeared at the Prince of Wales Theatre this week, and has now moved to its new home at the Novello Theatre beginning September 6th. 2012. The full cast features Gary Milner, real-life wife Sally Ann Triplett, Neil Roberts as Harry Bright, James Gaddas as Bill Austin, Charlotte Wakefield as Sophie Sheridan, Andreas Gyllander as Sky, Abiola Ogunbiyi as Ali, Tasha Taylor Johnson as Lisa, Steven Oliver as Pepper and Liam Doyle as Eddie. Marin Mazzie

Three-time Tony Award Nominee Marin Mazzie (RAGTIME, PASSION, KISS ME KATE, SPAMALOT, NEXT TO NORMAL) steps back into her formative years with an evening of fun and fantasy as we get inside the head of a Midwest girl and the music she loved. Kathie Lee Gifford

Featuring book and lyrics by Kathie Lee Gifford and music by David Pomeranz and David Friedman, SCANDALOUS begins performances at Broadway's Neil SimonTheatre on Saturday, October 13, 2012. Alexandra Silber and Will Reynolds

Walnut Street Theatre opened its landmark 204th season with the American premiere of Erich Segal's LOVE STORY, the musical. With direction and musical staging by Annabel Bolton, this emotionally charged production is a delicate story of life and love. Cyndi Lauper

Kinky Boots, the highly anticipated new musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), will begin preview performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, with an official opening night set for Thursday, April 4, 2013. On September 6, as part of this year's Fashion's Night Out, Lauper introduced a special performance of "Sex is in the Heel" by the cast of Kinky Boots at the Manolo Blahnik boutique.
