Roundabout Theatre Company and Arts for All Abilities Consortium will present a virtual theatre festival dedicated to the voices of artists with disabilities on April 8, 2021. The festival is space for artists to develop and share new theatre works, created and hosted by Roundabout Theatre Company.

New York City Ballet’s 2021 Digital Season programming has been announced for the week of February 22-27, focusing on George Balanchine’s Prodigal Son. The ballet is the first to be featured in the multi-part series “Three Sides of Balanchine,” exploring the choreographer’s narrative, classical, and neoclassical traditions.

MCC Theater announced today The Things Are Against Us will be the next LiveLab in their one-act digital reading series. The Things Are Against Us will stream on MCC’s YouTube Channel on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 6:30PM EST and tickets will include access to watch through February 27, 2021.

Salt Lake Acting Company has announced the second installment in its first-ever New Play Sounding Series Festival. The virtual festival, comprised of three new works written by, directed by, and starring BIPOC artists, launched last month with DADDY ISSUES by Kimi Handa Brown

Playwright, lyricist, and librettist Melisa Tien is the creator and producer of the upcoming live, online song cycle Swell, presented by HERE from March 17-21, 2021. This contemporary work about immigrants and children of immigrants, written by immigrants and children of immigrants, is directed by Elena Araoz with music direction by Tian Hui Ng.

Irish Repertory Theatre has announced a two-week extension of the Theatre @ Home Winter Festival. The free repertory retrospective of all of the original digital productions created by Irish Repertory Theatre during the COVID-19 shut-down was originally set to conclude on February 21 and will now run through March 7, 2021.

THE SEEING PLACE THEATER has announced Lynn Nottage’s SWEAT, directed by Brandon Walker. SWEAT will have two live performances via Zoom on February 27 (7 pm EST) and February 28 (3 pm EST), and be available via streaming on YouTube February 28-March 3, 2021.

New York Theatre Barn will host a free special event live stream of excerpts from the new civil rights musical Freedom Riders on Wednesday, February 24th, 2020 at 7PM EDT. The live 1-hour presentation will also feature a conversation with the writers and a special appearance by one of the last surviving Freedom Riders Charles Person. 

SMITHTOWN – written by Drew Larimore and directed by Stephen Kitsakos, Studios of Key West Artistic Associate – is a series of four interconnected but distinct monologues featuring an ensemble of top Broadway and television actors: Michael Urie, Ann Harada, Colby Lewis, and Constance Shulman.
