Wicked has passed $700 million at the global box office, with $460.6 million coming from domestic gross, and $240.4 million from international revenue.

Since its debut on digital platforms December 31, Wicked has made a whopping $70 million from audiences renting or purchasing the film outside of the theater.

Popular, indeed! Jon M. Chu's movie musical has won the Golden Globe for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. Other nominated films were Alien: Romulus, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Deadpool & Wolverine, Gladiator 2, Inside Out 2, Twisters, and The Wild Robot.
