“Everything has it’s season, everything has it’s time..” So goes the lyrics of “Corner of the Sky”, one of the most well-known songs from Stephen Schwartz’ and Roger O. Hirson’s Tony award winning musical, PIPPIN. And it seems, that for the Garden Theatre’s latest production of this classic, now is the season and the time for a production of PIPPIN that not only brings this story to life for a new generation but does so in a new and inclusive way - incorporating deaf actors and American Sign Language (ASL) at the very heart of the show. I am pleased to say that this new approach works marvelously well – elevating the performance by adding elements that give new meaning to the story unfolding on stage and creating an evening of theatre that is magical, memorable, and unlike anything you are likely to have seen before.

Join Fort Salem Theater for 'Salem Under the Stars,' an open-air fundraiser concert featuring Broadway stars in the scenic raspberry fields of Garden.

Filled with incredible showstoppers, many familiar theatrical staples, and some exquisite singing from an all-star cast of theater vets, this well-curated “greatest hits” concert honoring Boublil and Schonberg was a fitting, glorious celebration of the creative partnership responsible for two of the biggest musical hits in theatrical history.

Jackie Siegel first came to the public’s attention as the subject of Lauren Greenfeld’s 2012 documentary, “The Queen of Versailles,” a real-life look at the former Mrs. Florida who married a billionaire and then, inspired by trips not only to France but to Las Vegas, set about building with him their own Palace of Versailles in Orlando.

Playwright Lindsey Ferrentino not only wrote the book for “The Queen of Versailles,” she came up with the original idea for a musical about the billionaire Florida couple living their own version of the American Dream – building a gargantuan gilded palace – until the Great Recession of 2008 gets in the way.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater will operate this August with a full slate of nightly performances.

Birdland has announced jazz programming running at Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater July 29th - August 11th.

West End Musical Theatre star Kerry Ellis will play Cruella de Vil at the New Theatre Oxford 3- 7 December and Brighton Theatre Royal 17 December 2024 – 5 January 2025, concluding the current UK and Ireland tour of 101 Dalmatians The Musical.
