BroadwayWorld is saddened to report the death of singer and Broadway performer Jane Morgan. She passed away in her sleep on August 4 at her home in Naples, Florida, at the age of 101.

The Karate Kid franchise was announced as another adaptation for the stage back in January 2020, though there had been little news since then. Ralph Macchio, well known for portraying the role of Daniel LaRusso, gave an encouraging update on the progress of the adaptation.
