Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) continues its 65th season with the musical 110 in the Shade, in weekend performances from April 28 through May 21.

Disney's The Lion King continues to reign across North America with a sold-out engagement in Salt Lake City, which concluded on Sunday, April 16, at The George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Theater. The triumphant four-week return grossed over $6.2 million at the box office and entertained nearly 75,000 theatergoers during 31 performances.

Maestro LUKE FRAZIER and THE AMERICAN POPS ORCHESTRA - Washington, DC's innovative hometown orchestra - will conclude their all-star 2016-2017 season with You Spin Me 'Round: An 80's Dance Party on Friday, April 7 at 8:00 PM atThe George Washington University's Lisner Auditorium (730 21st Street NW, Washington, DC). Put on your dancing shoes and travel back in time to the era of neon, teased hair, and shoulder pads as the American Pops interpret the popular music of the 1980's. The Salt Lake City return of Disney's The Lion King opens tomorrow, Saturday, March 25 at 8:00pm at the Eccles Theater for, a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, April 16.  In Salt Lake City,The Lion King will play Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 2:00pm and 8:00pm, Sundays at 1:00pm and 6:30pm, along with weekday matinees on Thursday, March 30 and Friday, April 14 at 2:00pm.  "Thus far sales have exceeded our expectations, but patrons are encouraged to contact the box office for best availability," said John Ballard, MagicSpace Entertainment.

Round House Theatre's Artistic Director Ryan Rilette and Managing Director Ed Zakreski are thrilled to announce the company's 40th Anniversary Season. SWAN Day/Support Women Artists Now Day is an international holiday designed to showcase the power and diversity of women's creativity. Founded in 2007, SWAN Day is always the final Saturday in March. We have such a rich, creative community of women artists in DC that we are able to present events throughout the month! All DC SWAN Day events are free and open to the public.
