The Philadelphia Ballet always shines, but there is a certain sweet spot when Artistic Director Angel Corella has a chance to interpret Tchaikovsky works originally staged by choreographer Marius Petipa.
He always finds a way to be faithful to Petipa while using the vast talent of the Philadelphia Ballet to make it something new, fresh and very Corella. Such is the case of Swan Lake, which will be on stage for the next two weeks at the Academy of Music in Center City.
