Theater's beloved names and brightest stars joined a sold-out audience in honoring Broadway's most fantastical anniversary at Celebrating 25 Magical Years of Disney on Broadway. The sparkling silver anniversary event on November 4, 2019, raised an astounding $570,426 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

During this weekend's D23 Expo, hosts Scott Weinger (a?oeAladdina?? animated film) and Linda Larkin (a?oeJasminea?? animated film) took D23 Expo attendees on a magic carpet ride with a show-stopping evening of music and dance performances from stars of stage and screen in celebration of the upcoming in-home release of the live-action adaptation of ALADDIN and Walt Disney Animation Studios' ALADDIN Walt Disney Signature Collection.

The magic came to life as hosts Scott Weinger (“Aladdin” animated film) and Linda Larkin (“Jasmine” animated film) took D23 Expo attendees on a magic carpet ride with a show-stopping evening of music and dance performances from stars of stage and screen in celebration of the upcoming in-home release of the live-action adaptation of ALADDIN and Walt Disney Animation Studios' ALADDIN Walt Disney Signature Collection.

After behind-the-scenes clips from the original films, and songs (Including 'Speechless' sung by Lillias White), bloopers and more - Grammy winner Regina Belle entered the stage to a thunderous ovation. Joining her and filling in for an under-the-weather Peabo Bryson was Norm Lewis who joined her for a powerful rendition of 'A Whole New World' - watch the video!

Norm Lewis and Holland Taylor guest starred on last week's episode of BETTER THINGS on FX. In the episode, the main character Sam goes to New York City to read for a play titled 'Skewered' alongside Lewis, Taylor, and other actors Mark Feuerstein, Gabrielle Ruiz, and Jon Jon Briones.

Just last night, Manhattan Concert Productions presented a concert performance of Frank Wildhorn and Nan Knighton's musical comedy The Scarlet Pimpernel at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. Gabriel Barre (Stage Director) and Jason Howland (Music Director) reunited to lead the cast and creative team. The performance also featured a chorus of over 200 singers from the across the United States, a professional cast and creative team, and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.

It was an instant success and he changes it up every year, with Musical Director, Joseph Joubert, and his band of merry-making men, George Farmer and Perry Cavari. The PARTY is helmed by Norm's longtime friend and collaborator, Richard Jay-Alexander.
