The Second City will bring The Best of The Second City! to the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln as part of its anniversary year. The one-night performance will feature sketches, songs, and improvisation drawn from the company’s comedy archive.

Netflix Is a Joke Fest is back. The week-long extravaganza will once again bring together comedy's biggest names, including Rachel Bloom, Bill Burr, Alex Edelman, Jeff Hiller, Bob Odenkirk, Martin Short, Sarah Silverman, and many more.

Over the last 65 years, The Second City improv and sketch comedy school has built itself into one of the premiere comedic factories of its kind. Lorne Michaels, the creator of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, seems to draw the majority of the show’s talent from three primary sources: Second City (Chicago, New York, and Toronto), the Groundlings (primarily of Los Angeles) and the Upright Citizens Brigade (NYC).
