Four classic books take center stage as The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati (TCT) has announced its 2026–2027 Season. The 107th season will span productions at the restored Emery Theater, the Ralph and Patricia Corbett Showtime Stage on Red Bank Road, and touring engagements in schools and community venues nationwide.

BYMT has announced its 2026 season lineup, which includes several new productions set to captivate audiences. The season promises a diverse range of shows catering to various tastes and interests.

The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck will present its upcoming production of the beloved musical Mary Poppins. Based on the Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins features original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman.

On Saturday, November 15, at 7:00 P.M., I had the pleasure of my very first experience with the Broadway on Main Theatre Company in East Haven, Connecticut, to see a phenomenal production of MARY POPPINS! This theater features scenery projections on the back of the stage wall and on the side house walls, to immerse the audience into the show, with a constant 270 degree visual experience! Sometimes the projections include motion, even moving images of some of the characters in the show! This is a unique concept, brilliantly applied, enhancing the quality of the production! This is a highly memorable show, wonderful for the whole family!

MARY POPPINS THE MUSICAL has its roots in the classic children's books by P.L. Travers, first published in 1934. The magical nanny who brings order and wonder to the Banks household became a cultural icon after Disney’s 1964 film adaptation, which blended Travers’ stories with unforgettable songs by the Sherman Brothers.

On February 14 and 15, 2025, the private school Global Jaya staged a production of Mary Poppins Jr. at their theater. This show was directed by teacher Mutiara Fallahdani and featured a cast of the school’s students from elementary through high school. The Broadwayworld Indonesia team was invited to watch show 3, which took place on Saturday afternoon.
