The Tony Award-winning musical MJ will return to San Francisco as part of the First National Tour. The production will play BroadwaySF’s Orpheum Theatre and is directed by Christopher Wheeldon with a book by Lynn Nottage.

The Tony Award–winning musical MJ will play Birmingham as part of the Broadway in Birmingham series at the BJCC Concert Hall. The First National Tour features Jordan Markus in the title role and centers on the making of Michael Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour.

“Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” took on a new meaning in Vancouver this week as MJ THE MUSICAL debuted at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Tuesday for its opening night. The touring production arrived with sharp focus on the making of the 1992 Dangerous World Tour, showing how Michael Jackson (or MJ) shaped every beat and detail.

The four-time Tony Award-winning musical MJ will make its West Palm Beach premiere at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts from February 10–15, 2026.

The national tour of ​MJ will make its Lowcountry premiere at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. He is one of the greatest entertainers of all time. Now, Michael Jackson's unique and unparalleled artistry comes to NJPAC in MJ.

The First National Tour of MJ, the smash-hit musical inspired by the life and artistry of Michael Jackson, will make its Edmonton premiere November 11–16, 2025 at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, presented by Broadway Across Canada.

The acclaimed First National Tour of MJ the Musical will make its Calgary premiere November 18–23, 2025 at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, presented by Broadway Across Canada.
