The Waverly Gallery, by Kenneth Lonergan, is a Pulitzer Prize finalist that explores family, memory, and caregiving. Centered on a Greenwich Village art gallery, the play follows a family navigating the effects of dementia with humor and compassion.

This season, three plays are receiving Broadway debuts which already made significant noise off-Broadway in their original productions, years ago. Becky Shaw, Bug, and Marjorie Prime will all be opening on Broadway in early 2026 in brand new productions. The first and last are spending time on Broadway at the Hayes under the auspices of Second Stage while Bug is being presented by Manhattan Theatre Club at their home, the Friedman.

Joanna Pickering's new one-woman play, Lara's Journey, completes casting and announces Ukrainian actress Yeva Sevriukova. Sevriukova, who stars in the title role, is a seasoned stage and TV actress in Kyiv, Ukraine. She came to the USA when her career was halted due to the Ukraine war.

Joanna Pickering's one-act play, Lara's Journey, will be performed in a benefit staged reading on World Refugee Day. The reading will be held at the Center for West Park, June 20th at 8 p.m.
