The 8th annual Young Entertainer Awards (YEA) will take place on Sunday, December 3, at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California. Proceeds from tax-deductible ticket sales and donations will support scholarships for young people seeking to pursue careers in entertainment.

Broadway’s youngest stars aim to make a difference through song by performing musical numbers from “IT’S EASY! The Friend Strong Musical” on May 8th at 54 Below in NYC for the BROADWAY KIDS FOR KINDNESS Benefit to end bullying.

Play Theater, a performing arts program for kids in Scotch Plains, NJ is partnering with Team Car Wash, located at 215 South Avenue East in Westfield (next to Bohemian Raspberry Yogurt) on late October weekends for a Haunted Car Wash that will provide entertainment for guests who can choose between a silly or spooky experience.

While the second LYRICS FOR A CAUSE didn't happen in March as planned due to COVID-19 shutdowns, talented young performers joyfully sang in a virtual cabaret held Friday night live from their own homes. The cabaret, which was hosted by Spotlight Kidz (Pottsville, PA), was a benefit event for the Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the United States (MHAUS).

Nicole Raviv, Canadian/Israeli international singer-songwriter and official National Anthem singer for the New York Islanders has released a new song and music video for Hanukkah titled 'French Holiday (A Hanukkah Love Story)! The song is an original big band jazz duet Raviv wrote and directed in French and Hebrew.

Internationally acclaimed Voice Teacher, Badiene Magaziner, will be hosting a benefit at FEINSTEIN'S/54Below on November 7th at 7PM, Jillian Zack, Music Director. to raise funds for SHINEmsd.org, an organization founded to support survivors of the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School massacre which took place last February in Parkland, Florida. The benefit is to help those directly affected by the tragedy and to raise awareness for better gun safety laws.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) is thrilled to announce final casting for the 30th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS along with The Songwriters Showcase and Midday Cabarets. The FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS takes place on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26, 2018 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Festival events kick off on Monday, October 22 with Thank You, 30! a gala event to celebrate the 30th Annual Festival.
