Yael Karoly is a composer and performer born and raised in LA, now based in New York City. She is a composer at the BMI Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop and a songwriter at the Johnny Mercer Songwriter’s Project in Nashville. She is currently writing a folk-rock musical adaptation of The Scarlet Letter with her collaborator, Emily Elyse Everett. They were residents at the Catwalk Artists Residency. Yael premiered an original concert BookTalk The Musical: The Cabaret at Green Room 42.
