The Short+Sweet Hollywood 2024 festival returns to The Victory Theatre Center in Burbank, CA for a 6-week run. Under the new Festival Director, Ashley Karp, the season promises exciting performances and partnerships with Final Draft, Coverfly, Theatre Unleashed, and Stagey.

Known as 'The biggest little festival in the World,' Short+Sweet is the world's largest-reaching performing arts festival dedicated to original short form Theatre, Music and Dance.
After studying the Hollywood Fringe Festival for three years, and wanting to create an empowering theatrical event in the vein of “Rent” and “Jesus Christ Superstar,” he then recruited an award-winning creative team of Fringe veterans, including Director Steven Vlasak, Choreographer Soda Persi, Musical Director Robert Hall, and Costumer Christine Vlasak.
The Ark Theatre has announced that playwright-in-residence Stephen Fife will debut numerous works in its 2019/2020 season that include the world premiere of 'In The Mood' and a workshop production of 'Isabella in Oz.' The romantic comedy 'In The Mood' will begin steamy previews Friday November 8, open November 16 and continue through December 14, while family-friendly 'Isabella in Oz' opens December 9 with afternoon and evening performances. After a successful, sold out run at the biggest Hollywood Fringe Festival yet, the Theatre Unleashed premiere of Tattered Capes by acclaimed playwright Gregory Crafts took home the Fringe Award for "Dance and Physical Theatre" Sunday night against a tough field that also included hit shows like Cirque du Giselle, Shakedown at the Dusty Spur, Mil Grus and Scarlett Fever. The win is TU's second in a row, after taking home the award for Best Comedy last year with A Very DIE HARD Christmas.
