Michigan Shakespeare Festival to Return in 2026 With Previously Announced Season

The Michigan Shakespeare Festival has announced it will return in 2026 with its previously planned 2025 season, including Richard III, Much Ado About Nothing, and a world premiere adaptation of The Beaux’ Stratagem. A recovery plan is now in place, beginning with a September 27 kickoff event at the Hilberry Gateway in Detroit. Tickets at wsushows.com.

Mid-Michigan’s award-winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, finishes out the 2021-2022 Season with the World Premiere of The Hat Box by Eric Coble. Performances for this fun play about family secrets begin Thursday, July 14 and run through Sunday, August 14. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 21.
