BIO

Patrick Riviere has been in the theatrical sandbox most of his life as an award winning performer, playwright, director, producer, teacher, arts administrator and filmmaker. He has performed over 100 starring and featured roles in theatre, film and television since he began performing at the age of ten. His stage work has earned him critical acclaim highlighted by performances as Manos in the new musical OPA! (nominated for MITF 2008 Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical), El Gallo in THE FANTASTICKS (nominated for a Pryor Award for Best Actor in a Musical), Sancho in the Merry-Go-Round production of MAN OF LA MANCHA, The Purser in the Broadway on the Boardwalk production of ANYTHING GOES at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, Che in EVITA at ArtPark, Stewpot in SOUTH PACIFIC at Candlewood and Snoopy in YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN at ECST. Off-Broadway: FAMILY DINNER at The Beckett, WELCOME TO OUR CITY at The Mint Theatre, BABES IN TOYLAND at Symphony Space, and the NYC revival of THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM at Theatre Off-Park. He was featured as forensic expert Robert Johnson opposite the late Bruno Kirby in the Fox TV series THE JURY and was awarded a Gold Telly for his starring role in the Tom Sparks Commercial, WINTER HAS COME which debuted during Super Bowl LII.


He has had the great privilege to sing with the incomparable Patti LuPone in her show, Don't Monkey With Broadway at Provincetown's Town Hall. He has worked with Broadway directors Michael Greif and Stafford Arima; famed choreographer, Gemze de Lappe; RSC director Maurice Daniels; International director/choreographer Sam Viverito; and Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winning composer Charles Strouse on both the North American Premiere of I AND ALBERT, and a production of RAGS. Patrick has recorded demo CD's for several new musicals including: GO GO BEACH, PERFUME: THE ROCK OPERA THRILLER, THE REALLY BIG PIRATE SHOW! and OPA! The Musical. He has also recorded voices for the PIE Story Theatre Holiday CD.
He is the Director and Executive Producer of the Award-Winning Short Documentary Films: JUST A BROADWAY BABY: MARY ELLEN ASHLEY and ARTISTS AT THE EDGE.

First Annual Playwright's Festival Announces Winners

PIE Story Theatre debuted in Central Park in the summer of 1991. Now after a multitude of successful companies in New York, New Jersey, Chicago and Los Angeles, it makes its Massachusetts premiere at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater and the Outer Cape beginning on July 7th at 3PM at the Larry Phillips Performance Pavilion. The program then tours the entire Outer Cape community with performances from Dennis to Provincetown at a variety of venues. All of the performances are free of charge. The current PIE Company is: Colby Bell, Alyssa Freeman, Terrence Rex Moos, Paige O'Connor and Aisling Sheahan.
