Playwright, producer, singer, songwriter and actress, Gifford has starred in numerous television programs and movies in her 40-year career. She is currently the beloved 3 time Emmy winning co-host of the fourth hour of TODAY with the great Hoda Kotb. She is the author of 4 New York Times bestsellers including the 2018 blockbuster, The Rock, The Road and The Rabbi. She penned the Tony-nominated (2012) Broadway musical, Scandalous. Gifford writes a new song for the popular monthly TODAY segment, Everyone Has a Story. Prior to NBC News, Gifford was co-host of Live with Regis and Kathie Lee for 15 years (11 Emmy nominations) and was a correspondent for GMA for 3 years. Gifford was inducted into the Broadcast & Cable Hall of Fame in 2015.

MAC Annnounces The 2023 Burman And Wallowitch Award Winners!

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has announced that Kevin Kelso (music) and Hillary Rollins (lyrics) are the winners of MAC's 2023 Dottie Burman Award songwriting competition, and that Sonya Hayden (music and lyrics) is the winner of MAC's 2023 John Wallowitch Award songwriting competition. The winners will share in the $500 award that comes with each of the two competitions.
