On November 21st, 2022, distinguished artists from across the nation’s entertainment industry will come together at Town Hall for the 22nd annual production of The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway — and the first live return of this flagship event since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The best of Broadway came out to celebrate the arrival of Leopoldstadt, Tom Stoppard's Olivier Award-winning Best New Play, directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Patrick Marber. BroadwayWorld was there for the big night and you can check out photo coverage from the red carpet!

The unique summer gala took place on the Delacorte Lawn in Central Park, and featured performances by Renée Elise Goldsberry, Oscar Isaac, Norm Lewis, Kimber Elayne Sprawl, and more, as well as special appearances by Danai Gurira and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Just last night, MCC Theater celebrated the opening of the World Premiere of Which Way to the Stage by Ana Nogueira (Empathitrax) and directed by Mike Donahue (MCC's Collective Rage). Previously titled Here She Is, Boys, Which Way to the Stage will run through May 22 at the Newman Mills Theater at MCC Theater.

The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Musicals will premiere tonight. The actors performing the series of Viral Monologues will include: Allison Posner, Andrew Leeds, Anika Larsen, Bonnie Milligan, Chad Burris, Derek Klena, Derrick Baskin, Joél Pérez, Lennon Parham, Maria-Christina Oliveras, Melody A. Betts, and Robbie Fairchild.

The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will mark their one-year anniversary with a series of unforgettable monologues. Twenty-four actors have been paired with twenty-four writers, who have crafted unique pieces especially for their actors. From 6 PM until 10 PM, new monologues will be published every 15 minutes.  

On Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 8:00 pm, Bennington College, in partnership with The 24 Hour Plays, will present a virtual benefit to support the Nicky Martin Scholarship for Performing Arts and the Spencer Cox '90 Field Work Term Fellowship for Student Activists.
