Gene Gillette is a New York based actor who most recently performed in the Bartlett Sher directed production of To Kill A Mockingbird on Broadway and starring Ed Harris. He is also known for playing the father, Ed Boone, in the First National Tour of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Previous work with The National Theatre includes The 2nd National Tour of War Horse. Other select theatre credits include: Macbeth with Frances McDormand at Berkley Rep directed by Daniel Sullivan, Pale in Burn This at Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Claudius in Hamlet and the World Prmeiere of Gertrude and Claudius at Orlando Shakes, Thurio in Two Gentlemen of Verona at The Shakespeare Theatre, John Proctor in The Crucible at The Arvada Center, Padraic in The Lieutenant of Inishmore(Ovation Award Best Actor) at Curious Theatre, Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire(Ovation Award Best Actor) at Theatreworks and the title role in Hamlet at The Denver Civic.
