Returning to the concert stage in Los Angeles for the first time in over three years, critically acclaimed actor and singer Erich Bergen will be performing at Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood for two shows only on Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25, at 8:30pm, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents. Michael Orland (American Idol) is musical director.

An overflow audience for the Victoria Shaw concert got a surprise as Victoria called up two of her friends who were in the audience……..Desmond Child, and then Kristin Chenoweth each sang a number. Acclaimed singer/pianist Billy Stritch returned to the Birdland Theater stage on Wednesday, October 17, with two shows. The Grammy-nominated performer entertained with a selection of jazz, popular standards and bossa nova by a range of songwriters including Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen, Michel Legrand and the Bergmans, and Brazilian composers Antonio Carlos Jobim and Ivan Lins.

On the Television show 'Lets Make A Deal' you're only a winner if you open one door. At Birdland last night you were a winner no matter what door you opened. On the legendary Jazz Stage it was John Pizzarelli with The Swing 7, arguably the most talented guitarist/vocalist/comic performer on the planet. The door to the new Birdland Theater brought you into Susie Mosher's Lineup. A room full of celebs and lucky New Yorkers got to see an 'insane' guest list of phenomenal performers in her wild, semi structured variety show. Both doors at Birdland led you to superlative entertainment last night but the surprise guests direct from the Broadway Stage of Waitress, Erich Bergen (Jersey Boys, Madame Secretary) and Katharine McPhee ( TV, Smash, Scorpion) made you a winner if you also chose the door to the Birdland Theater.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series presented the return of Broadway singer/actor Max von Essen in concert last night, July 23. Max von Essen, currently starring in the hit Broadway production of Anastasia, returned with his old fashioned, new show celebrating the best of Broadway and the American songbook. Once again, Billy Stritch was musical director for the evening, with Steve Doyle on bass, Daniel Glass on drums, and Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf on cello.

International pop sensation and star of the upcoming Broadway production of Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812, Josh Groban, is the latest to join in Stagedoor Manor's #BroadwayForOrlando challenege, a viral campaign to raise funds and awareness for the victims and families of the shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando. The videos feature singers who have accepted the challenge singing the opening bars of Burt Bacharach's, 'What the World Needs Now' the song covered by the Broadway For Orlando organization to raise funds following the largest mass shooting in our nation's history.

Just last week, Feinstein's/54 Below welcomed Norm Lewis for his holiday engagement- 'Norm Lewis Wishes You a Swingin' Christmas.' The all-new show featured Lewis putting his mark on holiday classics, plus some of the songs that Lewis is best known for, and some surprises you would never expect to hear him sing. On Monday, December 29, the Broadway at Birdland concert stage was the place singer/actor Erich Bergen chose to celebrate his 29th birthday with not one, but two sold-out concerts. Best known for his performance as Bob Gaudio in the Clint Eastwood film 'Jersey Boys,' and the current hit CBS drama 'Madam Secretary,' Erich brought his dry wit, smooth vocals, ten piece band, three background singers and two-toned shoes to the Birdland stage, featuring songs from his stage and screen career, and material from his two EP releases. Check out his performance of 'Crazy Tonight' below!
