Tony nominee Ramin Karimloo performed "Music of the Night" from The Phantom of the Opera at Birdland Jazz Club in New York City during Victoria Shaw's 'Under the Covers,' featuring special guest Chely Wright and Serge Ortega. Check out his performance below!

The show has become a favorite recurring event since the Birdland series started eleven years ago. Over the years, Victoria has featured a wide variety of top-selling songwriters and musical acts from across the pop, rock and country worlds. They offer intimate acoustic performances of huge hit songs, along with the little-known stories behind them. In this outing, Victoria's very special guests were Ramin Karimloo (the Tony-nominated Jean Valjean in the current Broadway production of Les Miserables and country/'Broad-grass" composer), platinum selling recording artist Chely Wright and one of the stars of the CBS series "Madame Secretary" and Bob Gaudio in the film "Jersey Boys," Erich Bergen.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series takes place every week at the historic music room, which is located in the heart of the theater district (315 West 44 Street).
