David Arquette

David Arquette appeared in films during the 1990s including Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992), Airheads (1994), and Never Been Kissed (1999). His television appearances include Blossom (1992), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1992), and Friends (1996). He starred as Dewey Riley in the Scream film franchise, beginning with Scream (1996), and later appearing in Scream 4 (2011) and Scream (2022).

His film and television work in the 2000s includes See Spot Run (2001), the video games SSX Tricky (2001, voice) and ESPN NFL 2K5 (2004, voice), the ABC series In Case of Emergency (2007), Hamlet 2 (2008), and Medium (2011). He appeared in the music video “Why Wait” by Rascal Flatts (2010). He starred in Sigmund and the Sea Monsters (2017) and appeared in Dream School (2013). He reprised his role as Dewey Riley in Scream (2022).

Arquette made his directorial debut with The Tripper (2007) and later signed on to direct Glutton (began filming 2011). He competed on Dancing with the Stars (2011). He appeared in The Howard Stern Show on multiple occasions.

In professional wrestling, Arquette appeared in Ready to Rumble (2000) and participated in World Championship Wrestling storylines in 2000, winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in April 2000 and holding it until May 2000. He appeared on WWE Raw (2010). He returned to wrestling in 2018, competing in matches for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, Border City Wrestling (2018), and other promotions. He retired from wrestling in 2021, then made an in-ring return for Awesome Championship Wrestling in 2026.

Other work includes publishing the comic David Arquette’s The Tripper (2007), participating in the band Ear2000 (songs featured on Scream 2 (1997) and Scream 3 (2000) soundtracks), and recording music with Red Museum (Post Empire, 2011).
