Brody Grant is a stage performer best known for originating the role of Ponyboy Curtis in the Broadway musical The Outsiders. He first played Ponyboy in the show's world premiere at La Jolla Playhouse, where the production ran from February 19 through April 9, 2023. He subsequently reprised the role in the Broadway production at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, which began performances March 16, 2024, and ran through September 21, 2025.
For his performance in The Outsiders, he received nominations for the 2024 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical, the Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance and the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical. He was also a recipient of a 2023-2024 Theatre World Award for his performance in The Outsiders.
His other theater credits include Parade at New York City Center, where he played Young Soldier in November 2022, and The Outsiders workshop, in which he played Sodapop Curtis in 2022. Earlier credits include Ren McCormack in Footloose at The REV Theatre Company in 2021 and Jamie in The Last 5 Years at Shenandoah Conservatory at Shenandoah University in 2021.
