Winners of 2022 Yugo BAFTA Student Awards Released

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced the winners of the 2022 Yugo BAFTA Student Awards during a two-night ceremony on July 21 and July 22 at Harmony Gold in Los Angeles. The ceremony followed several weeks of virtual panels and meetings for the finalists.

A CHRISTMAS Carole King will preview on Saturday, December 7 at 4pm & 8pm; Sunday, December 8 at 4pm; Thursday, December 12 at 8pm; and will open on Friday, December 13 at 8pm and perform through Sunday, December 22 at 4pm at the El Portal Theatre, 5269 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood.
Lifetime Announces 2020 Winter RIPPED FROM THE HEADLINES Lineup

Off the heels of Lifetime's Fall Ripped from the Headlines slate which reached 16.4 million Total Viewers*, Lifetime has ordered three new original movies to join the network's Winter 2020 Ripped from The Headlines slate of five movies centered on true-life events. Starring Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominee Nia Vardalos, Poisoned Love: The Stacey Castor Story follows the tale of a woman whose black widow tendencies are revealed with her murder plots to take down her ex-husbands and daughter. Also greenlit is the psychological thriller The Neighbor in the Window (wt), the story of a suburban wife who finds herself and the security of her family threatened by another seemingly friendly neighborhood mom, starring Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jenn Lyon. The slate includes You Can't Take My Daughter, an inspiring story about a young woman who fought to keep her rapist from gaining custody of her daughter, starring SAG nominee Lyndsy Fonseca and Golden Globe and Emmy winner Kirstie Alley.

A year after the tragic murders of Shanann Watts and her two young daughters by her own husband Chris Watts, Lifetime has greenlit the new movie, The Chris Watts Story (WT), revealing the months that led up to the horrific crime and piecing together the mysterious motives that made this doting father turn into a cold-blooded killer. Produced by Sony Pictures Television, the Lifetime Feature stars Sean Kleier (Odd Mom Out) as Chris, Ashley Williams (How I Met Your Mother), as Shanann and Brooke Smith (Bates Motel, Ray Donovan) as FBI agent Tammy Lee, who helped to bring Chris Watts to justice. Based on real-life events and taped confessions, The Chris Watts Story (WT) is set to debut in 2020.
