A sold-out run in January 2019, and consistent a?oewhen will you do this again?a?? questions have led to the creation of To Life 2: More Stories & Music Celebrating the Contributions of Jewish Composers to the Golden Age of Broadway. This second iteration of last year's audience favorite will pick up where the previous show left off, with more songs, anecdotes, and stories, and will highlight the works of Marvin Hamlisch, Kander & Ebb, Dorothy Fields, George & Ira Gershwin, Jerry Herman, and many more. To Life 2 will run in the Willow Theatre in Sugar Sand Park from January 10th through February 2nd.

It's a?oelights, camera, action!a?? for South Florida film fans with today's announcement of the schedule and lineup for the 30th Annual Donald M. Ephraim Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival. The Film Festival is hosted by the Mandel Jewish Community Center of the Palm Beaches and will be held from January 26 to February 16, 2020 in theaters in Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter and Boynton Beach. This year's films span diverse themes from sports, politics and history to music, romance and religion. Evoking the past, present and future of Jewish life in the United States, Israel and far-flung corners of the world, the 32 festival selections offer compelling dramas, light comedies and edge-of-your-seat thrillers.

This innovative and clever show transcended time periods and dance styles with small stories inspired by drinks such as a?oeLemon Dropa??, a?oeCuba Librea??, and a?oeBloody Marya??. The Crest Theatre at Old School Square was the perfect venue to highlight a?oeCocktail Houra?? - it was like seeing history come alive.

Max Bialystock, the one-time king of Broadway producers is hungry to strike it rich, and Leo Bloom, an accountant has dreams of someday becoming a theatre producer. They discover they can get rich by producing a flop rather than a hit, and start by finding the worst show, worst director, and worst actors. Complications arise when their new production, the gloriously offensive 'Springtime for Hitler' turns out to be a smash success. The humor of the show draws on ridiculous accents, caricatures, and many show business in-jokes.

Mizner Park Cultural Center is quickly becoming one of South Florida's 'go to' spots for an exciting and eclectic mix of theatre, music, comedy, and even film. The venue, well-located in Boca Raton's Mizner Park, will play host a wide variety of entertainment in December and January, hosting Broadway's Tovah Feldshuh in a brand new Broadway-bound musical, comedian Jeff Norris, a film about bridge, an evening of romantic music, and the delightful interactive Secret Comedy of Women.  Numerous other performances will take place as well.
