The cabaret show of Broadway tunes and popular songs will feature performers: Nita Whitaker (Recording Artist, World Premiere "Ragtime," Broadway: "Trouble in Mind"); Michael Skloff (Singer/Songwriter, Composer of "I'll Be There For You" from "Friends," Composer for "Grace & Frankie"); CHARLO CROSSLEY ("Studio One Forever," "Hairspray," "Sister Act," "Formerly Of The Harlettes"); Terry Wollman (Producer/Arranger/Smooth Jazz Recording Artist) & Melanie Taylor (Singer Currently On Tour With Barry Manilow), UnCabaret's BETH LAPIDES & Mitchell Kaplan; Dana Meller (Broadway's "Les Misérables"); MARK Arthur Miller (Actor/Singer/Songwriter, "Soul Searching"); Alex Mohajer (President of the "Stonewall Democratic Club"); STEVE MASTERSON ("Studio One Forever," "Pride"); ANGELO DIVINO ("Love From A to Z"); IVY JONES ("Baskets," "City Island"); MICHAEL J. WestFest 2022 will present two full weekends of shows, a different presentation each week, to entice the loyal audiences who have returned for WestFest every year, as well as to introduce new audiences to the richly varied work of the city's longest-running, continuously operating professional company. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8, Sundays at 2. Each week's program runs two hours, plus intermission.

MUSE/IQUE continues its adventurous yearlong concert series, L.A. Composed: A Festival of Los Angeles Music, with Grand Avenue led by Artistic Director Rachael Worby and featuring the returns of Savion Glover, named by Dance Spirit magazine as one of the 13 Best Tap Dancers in History, and Charles Yang, recipient of the 2018 Leonard Bernstein Award and described by The Boston Globe as one who 'plays classical violin with the charisma of a rock star.'

The last 50 years is proof that grassroots efforts do pay off and that you can fight City Hall. To showcase the events of two groups of passionate citizens in the 1970s that worked to save the Pier from the Santa Monica City Council's plan to build a 35-acre artificial island in the bay with a bridge connecting it to the Santa Monica freeway, the 'Save The Pier' play free live performances will be held on the West End of the Pier each day on Oct. 20-23 from 7-8:30 p.m.
