Four talented pastry chefs get to make a chocolate feast for the CHOPPED judges. In the first round of this all-desserts battle, the competitors must make dark chocolate creations that include a prized fruit and a salty snack. The second round is a celebration of judge Martha Stewart's favorite variety of chocolate, milk chocolate. And 30 minutes might not be enough time for the last two competitors to get everything they intend to their final plates.
Host: Ted Allen Judges: Alex Guarnaschelli, Martha Stewart, Geoffrey Zakarian
Premiering Tuesday, February 12th at 9pm - "Wonton Wonder"
Four chefs have to get creative with wonton wrappers after finding lowbrow eclairs in the first basket. A can full of cheesy comfort food and a lean bird are on the entree agenda. And a strange pastry is the odd find in the final round -- will it be a piece of cake for the final two competitors?
Host: Ted Allen Judges: Maneet Chauhan, Chris Santos, Geoffrey Zakarian
Premiering Tuesday, February 19th at 9pm - "Chicken Challenge"
The competitors must stay steady and focused as they take on three chicken-themed rounds in this special competition. The chicken in the first basket looks strikingly strange. And the chefs nervously wonder what a chicken-themed dessert basket might contain.
Host: Ted Allen Judges: Amanda Freitag, Stephanie Izard, Chris Santos
Premiering Tuesday, February 26th at 9pm - "Beer and Brats"
The chefs take part in a Bavarian bash, starting with an appetizer basket that also includes potato chips.
