Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for her play Cost of Living, Martyna Majok has quickly earned recognition for her ability to give a voice to the voiceless through her work. In this new collection, which includes her plays queens, Ironbound, and Sanctuary City, Majok tells the stories of those who would otherwise go unheard?stories about immigrant women and the challenges they face while trying to make it in America.
