From a distance you would think this is just a big, princess ballgown. But upclose, there is so much more happening! First of all, I love the pearl beading detail and the sweet little bow. Blake Lively looked like a vision in a shear Chanel dress at the 'Mr Turner' premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival. Every year the Cannes Festival is filled with stars, major movies and major fashion. Lively's Chanel dress has started the festival off on a high note. Witherspoon wore an Oscar de la Renta that to me epitomizes a 'ladies who lunch' dress. I can't explain what that means in great detail other than you know one when you see one. For me, a 'ladies who lunch' dress is feminine but not precious, sophisticated but not edgy, classic but not stuffy, embellished but not showy. And really, who better to make a 'ladies who lunch dress' than Oscar de la Renta?

Amy Adams I have missed you! I got so spoiled during awards season seeing one of my favorites rock event after event. And now, it has felt like ages since I have seen her amazing fashion sense hit the carpet. Thank goodness Adams brought some major glamour to the Times 100 Gala in the form of a navy Tory Burch gown.

Carrie Underwood attended the Time 100 Gala last night in New York City wearing a Claire Pettibone dress. The country superstar reminded me of a modern version of a socialite friend of Lady Rose from Downton Abbey. There is something about the combination of the soft silver color mixed with the embroidered overlay. It all comes together in a feminine dress with the right amount of drama.

I have said it before and I will say it again: Hailee Steinfeld is girl who knows her fashion! This Valentino Fall 2014 dress is almost too cool. I mean am certainly not cool enough to wear it, and I think very few are. Steinfeld's youth captures the whimsy of the bold print while still showing off her taste and style that far exceeds her age. What makes this dress work best is not her youth though, it's her total confidence.

Emma Stone has been nailing her fashion for the media tour of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but I think this pale blush Prada dress takes the cake. Blush pink has been everywhere, especially in the bridal world (Jessica Biel, Anne Hathaway), and at the Oscars this year we also saw a lot of nudes and blush tones. I am so thrilled to see this trend continue. I will never forget something I heard Rachel Zoe said once on the Zoe Report about a woman showing how her true confidence in a blush toned dress and I really agree. The color is very feminine but strong in it's vulnerability.

Black and white is everywhere right now. It was so 'in' last spring and it seems the trend (which is really a classic combination) isn't going anywhere soon. Yesterday's Fashion Photo featured a black and white ensemble with a spash of red, and today's is like seeing double. Darby Stanchfield looked like the belle of the ball in a black and white outfit by Sachin + Babi at the Television Academy Foundation's 35th Annual College Television Awards Gala.

Lake Bell has so much going on this seemingly simple ensemble. She took the basics - black, white and a splash of color - and mixed and matched texture and patterns to create a chic, fun and flirty outfit that is perfect for spring. She started off with a great white top and as my Mom always says, you can never have too many white tops. She paired it with a black and white, embroidered floral skirt from Chloe Resort 2014 collection. The skirt is very feminine but feels modern with the geometric flower shapes.

When I grow up can I be Kiernan Shipka? Her sense of style gets more and more refined as she matures. I feel like I am watching a younger Emma Watson blossom before our eyes. Shipka always dresses for her body, wears something age appropriate but continues to try new things. And she always looks amazing!

It's been a while but I am back just in time for not one, not two but three outfits worn by Kate Middleton in one day. Yes, you read that correctly, three. I sometimes have trouble enough creating one cute outfit when I am sleepy! The Duchess started off Easter Sunday in a pale lilac suit by Alexander McQueen and her go brand - L.K. Bennett - pumps. She was a vision in springy pastels.

Demi Lovato went for a rocker-chic look the other night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The singer debut a new, partially shaved hair style with a great gold jacket over and all black ensemble. She accessorized with the bold Graduated Alchemia Collar from Charles Albert and a Gold Wrap Bangle from MAKKO.

My love for jumpsuits knows no bounds. Lake Bell recently wore a black jumpsuit from Stella McCartney's pre-fall 2014 collection and I am officially obsessed and need it in my closet yesterday. Why do I love jumpsuits so much? They are versatile, sexy, classic, chic, comfortable and a great dress alternative. Plus, they are always in and they are effortless.

I am so glad this winter is almost over, not only because I am so ready for some warm weather, but because I find it impossible to look good in the cold weather. I am not one who has successfully mastered the 'winter chic' look with the proper accessories. I find that when it's 20 degrees out function always beats fashion. And when I see girls still opting for fashion I am always laughing to myself while secretly jealous. Fashion is pain, right?
