This will be his 11th consecutive year at the Pavilion
Just a week before popular panto star Liam Dolan is scheduled to visit the Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow in his one man show ‘An Audience with...Liam Dolan’, the Pavilion and Imagine Theatre are delighted to announce that the Pav favourite will be back later this year in the magical, musical, laugh-out-loud panto spectacular Goldilocks and the Three Bonnie Bears.
Glasgow Panto royalty Liam, who will also co-direct and write the show, this year celebrates his 28th year working in panto land and his 11th season at the Pavilion. The hilarious funnyman, well known for his muchloved “Francie & Josie” tribute show and his regular appearances on TV and the stand-up comedy circuit, said ‘I am so delighted to be back at The Pavilion Theatre for Goldilocks & The Three Bonnie Bears. It’s fantastic to work with Imagine Theatre & Trafalgar Entertainment, not only as a performer but to be involved creatively with writing the show and co-directing is amazing. I can’t wait to get started’.
Jamie Gordon, the Theatre Director at the Pavilion Theatre added: ‘After his starring role in the hugely successful ‘Jock and The Beanstalk’, playing to over 81,000, we are delighted to welcome Liam back to the Pavilion pantomime, in what will be his 11th consecutive year… I know he doesn’t look old enough. We can't wait to see what fun and hilarity he brings to Goldilocks and the Three Bonnie Bears. Keep your eyes peeled for more exciting cast announcements coming soon!’
Presented once again by award-winning Imagine Theatre and with additional exciting cast to be announced, Goldilocks and the Three Bonnie Bears will be packed with festive spirit, side-splitting comedy, and plenty of surprises for kids and grown-ups alike, this is the Pavilion’s must-see festive tradition; it’s fun, festive, and oh-so-full of cheer! Join feisty heroine Goldilocks as she stumbles upon a family of three bonnie bears, each with their own big personalities, bigger appetites, and even bigger hearts. But when the wicked ringmaster threatens to tear down the bears’ beloved home to expand his travelling circus, Goldilocks must team up with her furry friends to save the day.
Expect toe-tapping songs, slapstick chaos, and enough panto magic to warm even the chilliest Glasgow winter night. Don’t miss the fairy-tale extravaganza that’s “just right” for the whole family!
