SKYFALL Reaches No. 1 in 25 Overseas Markets
According to Deadline.com, SKYFALL, the 23rd film in the James Bond series, opened overseas in 25 markets and grossed over $77.7 million, placing it in the number one spot everywhere. In the UK, the film opened to an estimated $32.4 million.
This marks the biggest opening of 2012 and the biggest 2D Friday to Sunday opening weekend in history in the U.K., and the 2nd biggest all-time Friday to Sunday opening weekend, behind just the 3D Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2.
