O'Brother Announce December Tour with Hot Water Music and Torche
O'Brother is excited to announce an East Coast tour with Hot Water Music and Torche this December as they continue to support their sophomore record Disillusion. The December dates kick off on the 12th in Baltimore and hit Sayreville, NJ, Philadelphia, New York City, and Boston before O'Brother heads back to the Tri-State area for a headlining show in Long Island just prior to the trek home to Atlanta for the holidays. The news of the dates comes just weeks after the band announced a US run with fellow Atlantans Manchester Orchestra which ramps up on November 8th and wraps with two hometown performances at Manchester Orchestra's annual The Stuffing at the Center Stage Complex where fans can see them perform acoustic on November 26th and fully plugged in on the 27th. They'll perform alongside Justin Townes Earle, Grouplove, Kevin Devine, and many more.
O'Brother has had something of a banner year in 2013, starting with a run of dates this Spring supporting Alice in Chains and playing some of the Midwest's biggest rock festivals, including Rock on the Range. They kicked August off with a pair of performances at this year's Lollapalooza before embarking on their first North American headlining tour. In the midst of the two month trek, the band released their sophomore studio full-length, Disillusion, on August 20th, 2013 via Triple Crown Records. The record marked the band's first Billboard chart appearances, debuting at #18 Heatseekers, #7 Vinyl, and #7 Alternative New Artist. Disillusion is the follow-up to the band's 2011 Manchester Orchestra produced debut, Garden Window.
