GAME OF THRONES Author George R.R. Martin Reveals: 'I Wish We Had More Episodes'

In a recent telephone interview with the New York Times, Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin spoke about the hit HBO TV adaptation, which will conclude its fourth season this Sunday. The writer shared what he believes the series has gotten right so far as well as what has been missing.

Martin shared that he wished the series could run beyond the 10-episode season order. "I wish we had more episodes," he revealed. "I'd love to have 13 episodes. With 13 episodes, we could include smaller scenes that we had to cut, scenes that make the story deeper and richer."
